Jake and Sam Menard, go by their band name Movin’ Right Along! Jake is 20 and Sam is 17, and have been playing together in one form or another for around 8 years. Their family is very musical, and both play in a bigger blues band, (which is where they started playing.)

Sam, with a low, Johnny-style voice lays down a cool rhythm guitar and Jake with a SRV sort of feel pumps out some eccentric leads that leaves you wanting more. Both draw influences from the greats (IE: Stevie Ray Vaughan, Johnny Cash, Chuck Berry, and various other legendary artists.)

With a focus primarily on blues and old school country, they have recently branched into more of a classic rock feel, (think “Sweet child o’ mine, or “house of the rising sun,” but with their unique twists added in!)  They absolutely love to play music together and are beyond excited to perform at Scribblers.
